    A Great Weekend.

    Hello All
I have posted this at the Utilkilts Forum. But for those of you that don't read that one I am also posting it here in hopes that it will help any of you that are on the fence about wearing your skirts and kilts in public to get off the fence and just do it.

I have been a member of this group for a long time and have been
wearing Utilikilts reqularly almost from the beginning of Utilikilts
as a company. I few of the real old timers here remember me. Anyway
for the last two weekends I have worn my Blue Denim Neo Traditional
    to
Two Native American PowWows One in Warner New Hampshire and the other
in Wells Maine. As I said before I have been wearing these kilts for
a long time and I have never seen them being so well received as they
were at both of these events. Probably 30 or more very positive
comments and I handed out maybe 20 or so cards. In fact people were
coming up to me and saying that they had seen the kilt at the PowWow
last week and wanted more info on were they could get one. In fact
there was another guy in a Utilkilt at the PowWow in Warner last
weekend. And also someone else in a more traditional Kilt so some of
the venders told me. Anyway alot of the dancers and members of the
verious drums and singers loved it and wanted more info on it. All in
    all a great weekend.

    Hi Dick,
Always good to hear kilts going over so well.
And welcome to XMarks. About time you showed up!
For those of you that don't know Dick, he has been kilting longer than most of us and promoting kilts the whole time.
He was one of the first to welcome me to the biz when I first started Bear Kilts.
    Check out his site:

It's good to hear from you again Dick - you and I go back a long way - and I am pleased you have hopped over to "X Marks..." at last. I seldom visit the other sites and forums nowadays as some of them have changed almost beyond recognition. It is great that you are still pulling in the compliments, so keep up the good work.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been lurking here for quite a while. I just don't say much. I have made kilts of one kind or another a regular part of my daily attire. Work and the Motorcycle are all pants because they must be, but other than that it is kilts most of the time. I am a wearer of casual style. as apposed the formal as some are. Bear, I'm glade to see you are hanging in there in the kilt business, It's hard to be a one man show and keep everyone happy. And thank for the link to my site, It is sadly out of date. One of these day I need to find the time to mess with it. Jimmy I'll try to add what ever I can and not stir the pot up too much.
GMan, Thanks for the comment. And Ham, you are amazing. A full timer and more kilts than most people have socks. What can I say. I wish you were coming to the Northeast USA. mainly New England. I would love to meet with you face to face. In fact that goes for any of you here. If you get to New England let me know. Maybe we can connect.
