    Green for Go

Just to show how easily mislead I am even at my age I have finally "submitted" (as someone said) and placed an order for a Victory Kilt.

You all seem SO certain they are good, (esp. Rocky and Glen) well I can't go wrong can I!
The green will be nice for St.Patricks Day next year, so Rocky has plenty of time to make it. (kidding, I need it tomorrow).

The bills can wait, kilts come first, now what was that great line? apologise later and not ask for permission now!!

    Graham,

Glad that I am sitting down for that! CONGRATULATIONS. Now that you mentioned my name I guess I better move a Victory Kilt towards the top of my wish list, and do I have a long list of kilts that I want to buy. Hmmm my birthday is coming around the corner, all donations can be sent to me, large bills only please.

Again Graham, Congratulations. I'm sure that you will have many wonderful experiences to share with us all, maybe even through in a picture or two.

    Congratulations, Graham!

I love my carhardt Victory and can't wait to see a picture of your green. Hope you ordered the matching sporran. Mine is constantly in use.

Sorry, no, I didn't ask for a sporran or pockets, I'm still a bit traditional and I like leather sporrans.

OK OK, someone's going to say this so I'll say it first, I know I also like bumbags but for work and hiking.

It's a big step for me, but I think I will like it. Anything is better than trousers!!

The hard part will be apologising to my wife, but work is doing well, I'm been working very hard day and night for weeks, so heck, I deserve it right?

It's only a month since my last kilt, at this rate I may overtake Hamish who said he buys one every 2-3 months if I recall!!

I'll soon catch you Hamish, then next year I'll have a two page spread

You're right Hamish, I'll not win that contest.

BTW, have you had much feedback from the article?

Congratulations Graham...and as far as contest with Hamish is concerned, it's good to set lofty goals.
