Hot Topic employee
Yesterday the family went to the mall where Wife & I both work. We picked up our meager paychecks. As usual, I was kilted. With my Mossy Oak UK and son strapped to my chest, I might have stuck out (or not with the camo).
We wandered around a bit and went into a shoe store. Wife was looking at toddlers' flip-flops while I looked at Docs.
A young man who works at both Hot Topic & shoe store approached me. He wanted to know about the kilt. He told me that he has a Tripp kilt and had worn it just the night before. However, he was unhappy with it. Cheaply made and starting to come apart after five washings. He has a friend who has a black kilt he believes to be a UK.
We talked a few minutes and I gave him the UK site with the price for Originals. I also gave him the info on USAK for tartan options.
That kilt gets more interest than any of my four others (not including lounge-kilt).

Show a man where to buy a kilt and he will be kilted for the day...Show him X-Marks and he will be kilted for life!!

When someone asks me about kilts, I always refer them here, and tell them to check out the sponsors. That kills two birds with one stone.

Yep. I've bought one kilt and lots of new accessories through the vendors on this site.

This is true. I only had one kilt prior to finding this site. Now I'm awaiting my third. Should arrive sometime today from SWK.

Way to go, Finn!
UKs are my daily-wear kilts & since it's not uncommon to be asked about 'em, I carry a few of their business cards with me & I write "www.xmarksthescot.com" on them, too. I've given dozens out & have wondered if any have joined X-Marks. Lord knows we could use some more Zonies on this board!
