No allegiance will be required. However, you will have to wear big yellow shoes and walk like a duck when wearing this tartan. ;)

The STA's notes on this one indicate it was used by Disney in WWII to help sales of war bonds. I think the brown version was an early prototype. The notes in the Scottish Tartans Society's old software call the yellow tartan the "final version."
As to who could wear it, I suppose anyone, although as a corporate tartan owned by Disney, one should get their permission before producing it, so actually obtaining it might be a problem.

Kilt Store sells the green one as a kilt (I just checked). So it would seem to me it shouldn't be too hard to find. I would imagine other kilt suppliers who have a wide variety could get it.

Funny, I wouldn't have imagined it was still in production. That's interesting... well, I guess if anyone wants it, it's there!

The Tartan Store has the green one available in 13oz and 16oz, and it says that the yellow one is special order.
I kind of like the one in the "ancient" colors though.
