Okay, okay, this surprises even me (I am rarely surprised these days). Lets see, kilts are made in Scotland, America, Canada, Pakistan, and now South Africa. How many more countries have a kilt manufacturer/retailer?

Looks like a decent product. I'm curious about what it would cost to import to the states. I like the pocket setup...and I don't even like visible pockets on kilts. I'm surprised I couldn't find any reviews elsewhere...maybe one of the members in SA has dealt with them.

The rugby kilts are pretty interesting...if I can find some suitable material I might make a Seahawks kilt.

They also sell p@nt$, so I could add new patterns to my collection of camo trousers too.

RON: If you have seen any postings from Piper James the guy behind Tartans4Africa, who has created all of the African tartans, he has some type of relationship with this company. Sometime back they were in the exploratory stages of making kilts with the African tartans (from tartans4africa) made from SA wool. I had been in an email exchange with the principal of this kilt company. I can't readily find the emails at the moment but I was under the impression that they had been in the business for a few years and were not brand new. Perhaps new to the North American market. I will search out the emails when I get a chance. I never purchased anything but he seemed like a decent guy in our correspondence.

An interesting note - they're up front that any errors in measurement are solely the responsibility of the customer.

That's a different attitude - putting that up front.

He was not the only one, BTW...Gordon R Dickson does it too, and Niven & Pournelle give it a mention. Kilts f-ing rule. I'd wear one daily to work, if it wouldn't result in a lot of eyebrows raised all the way to the hairline.
