    New Apocokilt!!!

Hello all! Tuesday, JT and I had a wonderful visit when he came by my house to deliver my new ACU Apocokilt! Unfortunately, I am currently limited to a Blackberry phone as my internet connection, so pics will be posted this weekend after Insight comes by to install my broadband. Until then,
Enjoy the (COLD) breeze 'tween yer knees!

I'm very curious to see the new kilt. The ApocoKilts are something I'm watching very closely. The baggy, gusseted BDU pockets and MOLLE features are something very different that really are cool.

I'll jump on this pics wagon. I'm pretty interested in the MOLLE features as well.

BTB MOLLE was a fantastic upgrade from the ALICE system. Man I hated those clips.

I'll show you the ones I took till then.

The addition of the hammer loop was kind of a whim of mine and will probably be altered into a Beer holster in the future.

Hard to see as my photo-fu is weak, is an addition of a key holder inside the cargo pocket.

The pockets are non-removable nor reversible as requested. To make up for the lack of pockets on the reverse, I made the interior loop panel twice as large. It encompasses the entire inner wall (8"x8") and gives him plenty of room for all his goodies and gadgets.

I have tried to remedy that as best I can by adding a removable fleece liner that attaches via hook and loop. It goes from the edge of the under apron to the inner edge of the apron, making sure to overlap a bit.

so can one wear a belt with that or no? It would cover the MOLLE?

I really like those big pockets, but I'm afraid if I stuffed em full of...say paintball junk, the kilt would come off without a belt to help hold it up.

I need to know how it all works....

The MOLLE can be hidden behind a regular kilt belt or even a GI type pistol belt. The keepers you see in the pic are completely removable and can be placed anywhere along the MOLLE if their placement interferes with gear.
If paintballing is the intended use, I suggest a removable rig for that can be worn over the small of the back, but you can find (or I can modify) existing tube holders that use MOLLE or PALS webbing, if you wanna attach them directly. The rest of you tools, rags, plugs, etc can either go in the cargo pockets.
