new and have a question

my name is edmund for those who havent seen my post in the newbie section. im a U.S. soldier stationed in germany and my question is this.. about a week ago i ordered a sportkilt. it was nothing custom, just the original sportkilt. i ordered a week ago and still havent received the email with the tracking number and on the site it just says status ordered. now im not trying to bash them, but i paid for express shipping to get here in time ( it was at last minute that i discovered i needed a kilt ) and im just concerned that maybe its been lost in the mail or whatnot. even with the custom order it says 3-5 days to ship, so im hoping that maybe the email just wasnt sent and it will be here before i need it. has anyone ever had an issue similar to mine? i would call but with the time difference it is kind of difficult and expensive to call. again please dont take the post as me being angry, im just concerned about the mail system fouling up, but hopefully it was just a lack of email. thanks again guys

Emails can go astray, too. However with the time difference, email may be the best way to check your status; then phone if you have to.

I would use the Web form on their contact page, as probably the most certain way to get a note to their in-box.

PS Sportkilt is pretty well regarded for their customer service...

Seamus has always been good in the customer service area. An e-mail would be advisable, as there might have been a Microsoft(screw up/ glitch) moment when your order was being processed. The e-mail should get it resolved quickly.
