    PM to RKilts

Robert, there appears to be a three way fight for a green hemp kilt between Graham, Dreadbelly & Wompet. I say let them fight! I'm going to save for a hemp kilt in saffron. Please do not leak this to the rabble because as soon as they hear saffron and hemp in the same thread, well let's just say that you won't have time to sleep until next Christmas!

We'll settle this in true Scots fashion -

    haggis at ten paces
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

    ccga3359,
You mean you've never heard of haggis fights?
When two highlanders enter the ceremonial stone circle, and let loose their fighting haggi upon the other, while pipers play piobaireached to the tempo of the bodhran?
It is true, in more decades years the scarcity of any haggi, especially the trained "pit haggi," has forced substituitions of course.

But frankly, West Highland Terriers just don't possess the same level of ceremony and savage dignity.
