In Praise of a Re-discovered PK

Started getting nippy here and i dug out my Lined Denim PKs that i bought last last fall.

Of my contemporary kilts (Buzz Kidder, Stillwater, Sportkilt and several UKs) the PKs fasten the quickest and most reliably and i REALLY like the way it hugs my paunch so pleasantly.

After wearing the denim UKs all summer, getting re-acquainted with my PKs and my faithful 'ol sporran (wink to Graham) gave my cockles a much needed warming.

With all the GREAT things being said about the PIttsburgh Kilts, I've REALLY got to look into getting one! This appears to be a "diamond in the rough" as far as the kiltmakers.

A little more advertising or forum exposure, and this could be one heck of a business!

Perhaps the website needs to be linked and "spidered" a little better?

I'm lovin' my new PKs...the quality and fit are excellent...and where else could I go to have an "Arizona flag" tri color kilt made up?? Jeff found the fabric, figured a price fair to both of us, and has undertaken the challenge...looking forward to seeing the finished idea. Will post pics when it gets here.

I can't wait to see how that flag comes out.

I was in another forum talking about boots and I pointed pout a pair of calf-high leopard-patterned velour Converse High Tops and someone mentioned they thought that would clash with my kilt.

I said I would have to get someone to make me a fuzzy, velour kilt in leopard pattern. Might just be a PK. I dunno.

Jimmy, what would you do if I showed up at a Barleyjuice show in a leopard kilt?

    Hey Joel,

I'll bet you Jeff is just the man to make the leopord kilt...

Or better, a black kilt with leopord underpleats peeking out in a two tone style....

I actually had someone ask if I could do a denim kilt with cheetah-print in the pleats for a "Rock-a-billy" look. I thought it was a really cool idea! Unfortunately the guy never got around to ordering it, so now I'm stuck with the idea in my head, but haven't been able to make one yet.

So YES, I'll be glad to do a leopard kilt! I'm always eager to do something a little different.

I would have to "pimp you out".

Either that, or I could tell people that you're my mentally challenged friend from "the Cape".

Hey Joel... please don't do that!
