Real Men Wear Kilts Article

I came across this article today:
http://www.examiner.com/x-34935-Vanc...Men-Wear-Kilts

It's nothing terribly in-depth or informative. While it seems geared more toward modern kilts, there is a nod to the traditional kilt.

Still, it's always nice to see positive press.

The model is our own ... um,, you know... WHAT IS THE GENTLEMAN'S NAME? Anyway, I recognize him as an X Marker and valued frequent poster. He is recently engaged to be married.

Could have been better written, but all in all it's good positive press. Thumbs up!

BTW, I didn't know we were supposed to wear our dirks in our hose!

The words are spreading fast! The power of the internet is awesome.

The article was published yesterday and I have not had a time to post it here yet. I am glad to see one of my fellow xmarkers did it. Thank you.

I am so thankful with every one's comment.

The picture of you in the article is great. That could very well spur a lot of people to be attracted to wearing kilts. You make it look cool.

So, tell us the story behind the story! How did this article come to be? And how did you get to be in it?

This gives me an idea. We should have an X Marks Challenge for people to get pro-kilt editorial pieces in their local papers. The more published articles we can get out there touting the growing popularity of the kilt, the more the kilt will become popular.

Who better to drive the trend than our own members?
