At those prices I'd expect a pretty shoddy product, not worth bothering with.

that is what i am thinking but they do have some nice rugby shirts on the sight as well may have to have a go at one of them. I am wondering what the international shipping chargers will be like.

From everything I've read here and elsewhere Stillwater is about the lowest cost kilt that's decent, and they just introduced a "budget" kilt alongside their regular ones. I'd pass on the budget one since the regular ones are inexpensive enough and have gotten good reviews here.

After the exchange rate. shipping and duties. It is probably cheaper to buy from Still Water.

I know this shop on Edinburgh's Royal Mile and, quite frankly, I would not waste my money buying anything from them. As Bubba says, at those prices what do you expect? Rubbish! Unfortunately, there are several of these Tourist Trap shops in Edinburgh (as in every Capital city, I guess), and this is definitely one of them.

I questioned the Manager of one of them a couple of years ago (it wasn't this same one) about the quality of his kilts being sold at £30.00. His answer: "Well, we don't expect anyone to actually WEAR them. They're snapped up by American tourists who take them home and pin them up on their Den walls!!"

    Enough said!

I can tell from the pics (the ones that aren't blurry) that the workmanship is kinda shoddy.

I'd give them the thumbs down too, there are better kiltmakers to buy from, well I wouldn't even call them kiltmakers.
