Scottish Reactions to the Bear Grizzly Cut Kilt

    Hiya!

Just spent two weeks in the Auld Land and wore my Nova Scotia Grizzly Cut Bear kilt all the time. They love it!

"What tartan?" "Who made this?" were common questions. "Beatiful" "Excellent kilt" common responses. No detractors!

Bear......great job. Now find me my clergy tartan and you will go to heaven for sure.

    Peace,
    Dan the Bruce

That's just one of the many reasons why I constantly wear my Grizzly Cut Maple Leaf Tartan BearKilt!!!

I have yet to find one person that doesn't see the originality in the style, the beauty in the look, and the quality in the make.

I like traditionals... but that Grizzly Cut is unbelievable! And incredibly comfortable!

I still wear the original Grizzly Cut around the house. (Canadian tartan weight Royal Stewart.) I don't bother with ironing the pleats. I just let 'em crease the way I sit on 'em.
I made myself a Maple Leaf 8 yard Grizzly Cut kilt that is more comfortable than any of my clan tartan weight 4 yard kilts.
The Grizzly Cut is the best cut I make for sitting around because the front flap falls so well between your legs, even without a sporran.
I've got some wool on the way. Should be great for a Grizzly Cut. And the double fringe will be very cool!
That's not what I ordered the wool for, though. I've got an idea I'm going to spring on you guys one day.

Hey! Not bad! I bet they'd sell.

    Coincidentally:
I bought 650 pair of shoelaces from the Salvation Army store in our neighbourhood. They say 'I Love Canada' or 'Beautiful B.C.'
Each hundred laces (50 pair) cost me a buck. I was giving them out with business cards at the Highland Games.
If I'd thought of it in time, I'd have had small mirrors made that could be laced onto women's shoes and sold those with the laces and cards for $5.00 a pair. I'd have made a fortune!

United States of the offended someone would yell
    "Sexual Harassment!"

Same here in Canada. Of course if men were wearing them with our kilts, women would have no problem with it. You have to love that double standard. I won't get started today.
