    A slow train coming...

Great news!! I just received a tracking update from FedEx: The first Fitzsimmons tartan kilt ever made is on its way home with an expected delivery date of March 7, 2006. No matter how mundane it may seem, this is a bit of a historical moment in the history of kilts and tartans; to me it goes beyond 'jones-ing'.

And for those who are wondering...A huge Thank you! to Matt Newsome for making the kilt...Matt, I can't wait!!

I trust you'll place some well posed pictures up on the board for all to share. This kilt will no doubt be an heirloom enjoyed and treasued by your progeny.

I can't wait to see the photos of you wearing the kilt. The wait will be worth it!

Congratulations! It's a really good thing when a new kilt is on the way but it's an AWESOME thing when a new kilt in your newly created family tartan is on the way.

There's nothing better than a tracking number - its always great watching your package getting closer, and closer, and closer...

Letting out a low rumbling growl that quickly turns into something piercing and vaguely similar to what might come out of the mouth of a dearg-dul...

    "No tracking update since Saturday!!!"

Just kidding, I'm not really angry just being impatient...forgive me for the frivolous post.
