    Stillwater Standard

I am considering a stillwater standard, since the heavyweight doesn't come in my size (explitive deleted)
any opinions on it? weight of fabric, construction, etc. does it taper from waist to hips?

I have a black Stewart standard. The fabric is 100% acrylic. Its not too ligh, but not too heavy either. It takes winds pretty good though (havent had any indecent incidents yet). Their standard model is not tappered from waist to hips. The front apron is kinda of short, but not too bad. My biggest concern wit the fabric is that Ive had to "shave"it twice already cus of the fuzz. I also noticed that that the pleats are not all equal in width (about 24 of them). Other than that, its a great knockaround kilt and a good value for the money as an entry level kilt.

Well, I got an email from Jerry today. Long story short, I should've had my SWK today, but the post office in my area is, let's say, slow. And I don't mean slow as in 'slow moving the mail.'

Apparently they don't go by address labels, only names

My SWK was delivered to Mike McKown, three blocks away, rather than Michael McKeown, at the correct address

Poor guy called Jerry very confused as to why he was sent a kilt!

    I should have it tomorrow

Ok, I got it this morning. It looks like it's going to be a good buy. Overall, I really like the feel and look of it. Granted, the only thing I have to compare it to is a sportkilt, and i must say I like it better than that by far. I got the black stewart, and it looks quite nice. I can't wait to wear it around.

Its definetely gonna look better than a Sports"kilt", and to the untrained eye its gonna look like a wool traditional kilt. Enjoy it!!!
