SWK heavy Black Watch on way

Just got the email, my new SWK heavy is on the way. If i could hear over the thunder and 80 mile an hour gusts of wind i would prolly hear the space time continuum being violated as Jerry sends it. I'll post a review as soon as i get it, although i can guarantee it will be too long. I've already talked to a seamstress who swears she has hemmed many kilts...we'll see how it goes. On another note, i also emailed Kathy Lare today to let her know i am ready to order that custom Strome 16 ounce in the MacKenzie weathered. 3 kilts in one month, and going up the ladder of progression. LOL. Sport kilt...to a Jerry wool off the rack, to a Hand sewn by Kathy. That was one heck of a bug that bit me!

    Congratulations!
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Wow! That's quite a progression. The SWK Black Watch Heavy Weight was my first kilt. I love the hand of the Australian Merino wool - in fact I'm wearing it today. I could probably have it hemmed, but I wear it with a high rise - about 2" above the navel which puts the belt buckle at the navel. This is higher than many people wear kilts, but lower than the military kilt cuts which tend to come almost up to the ribcage.

Yeah, Jerry usually gets the kilt to you about an hour before you order it. The shortest jones on Xmarks.
