UK with Tall Boots

My partner went to dinner with friends last night. It gave him the opportunity to wear the UK he got at Grandfather Mountain and a favorite pair of lineman boots.
I like it.

Regards,
Rex.

Lookin' good! It must be a bit of a project lacing up (and unlacing) those boots though.

That's a good look, I really don't think I could pull it off but he looks great.

That's pretty interesting - Usually when I've had my lineman's on I had my gaffs on with them - Sort of makes me chuckle thinking about climbing phone poles in a kilt

Cool boots!

I'm curious about the belt - that's not a buckle? It looks like it's a thick belt but it wrapped around? Do you have a close-up pic? or can you tell me more about it? I like it a lot!

thanks,
Noah

As it happens, since the photo he sent me was ginormous, I am able to provide a reasonably clear close-up.
He got the belt from a vendor at Grandfather Mountain selling leather wares. It wraps around through the d-ring, and from there the loose end of the strap could hang down - it's trimmed to go to the hem - but in this case, he's wrapped it around himself again for a tidier look.

Regards,
Rex.
