USA Mid-Spring to Early Autumn - Lightweight
USA casual and (hiking/camping) ultra-casual:
Lightweight, lightweight, lightweight, lightweight.
Did I say…lightweight?
Venders: Just saying. Smell the coffee?

Are you asking FOR lightweight or complaining that you think it is too lightweight?

If he is stating it is too lightweight, it's a personal opinion. I bought mine when I still lived in Oklahoma. Wearing a kilt in 100+ degree weather, I found my USA casual to be perfectly fine and very comfortable. Being washable was a plus also.

I still live in Oklahoma and trust me...the USAK is the perfect weight.

Just chanting and ranting. Ok, perhaps canting.
I’ve been (group) camping kilted, after dark until midnight and later, on fourteen occasions since mid-May in the USA Mid-Atlantic States region.
I’ve worn PV or light wool on four occasions. For the remainder I’ve worn kilts of cotton, poly cotton, or microfiber.
I expect to be camping kilted for another score of nights until Halloween. I expect to wear PV or light wool or heavier perhaps another five times.
That’s wearing something heavier than cotton, poly cotton or microfiber just twenty-five percent of the time.
When gents at these events and venues who wish to wear a kilt (or ladies who ask on behalf of their men ) ask me for recommendations, I refer them to makers of USA summer-weight kilts.
