The Very First X Kilt: Alan H's Prototype Finds a Good Home

Many people here on X Marks have made or at least own an "X Kilt" designed by our very own Alan H.

The prototype X Kilt was made for one of the brewers at the Devil's Canyon Brewery (famous hangout of the Nor Cal Rabble), the one and only Dan "the Man" Curran. Shortly after receiving this kilt Dan decided to start woirking out, eating right, and generally improving his health. He was very successful in his efforts and at least in regards to his waistline is no longer the man he used to be. Last Friday he returned the original X Kilt to Alan. Now Alan wondered aloud to the assembled Rabble "who could use it"? It turns out that our friend and neighbor's son Wade has been aching for a kilt since the last Pleasanton Games. It looked like it was just about the right size so we took it.

Even though it was late I brought it to him that very same evening, it turned out to be a perfect fit. I offered him a little advice on wearing a casual kilt and he was proud to wear a kilt to this year's Pleasanton Games.

Here is the lucky new owner:

He was very grateful for Alan's kindness. I have encouraged him to come an join our board.

May I offer a "Guid on ya" to both Alan on making this fine garment and Wade for wearing it well.

    Cheers

Guid on ya Allan, and the rest of the Nor Cal Rabble, for passing the joys of the kilt to a new wearer. Wade if you are seeing this Guid on ya also you wear it well.

It is so strange, but it just "feels good" when a kilt finds a good home. Good on all involved!

Wade you should go post a message in the Kilt Board Newbie section.
