Wee Xkilt, wee sporran, wee lad.

This is my grandson in his first kilt. My sister did this one as well, and I did up the sporran. He is a very happy fellow as now he has a kilt just like Grampy.

Your grandson looks great in his first kilt! Congratulations to both you on making the sporran and to your sister in making the kilt. What material did she use? And it looks as though it is box pleated. Is this correct? Any more photos available, especially of the pleating? Regards, Mangetout

Welcome to the forum! You'll find instructions for the box-pleated X-Kilt (plus a Reverse Kingussie addendum) in this thread. Be sure to look through and get the most up-to-date link for downloading the information.
