I would suggest you suck her brain dry of all things kiltmaking related, photocopy what you get and include that in the website, then funnel the original knowledge back in through one or the other earhole. You might want to do this while she is either asleep or heavily inebriated so she might not notice. Be prepared for a lot of material---you might want to make sure you have a high speed high capacity photocopier nearby---a quiet one so as not to disturb her sleep.
Oh, and don't let her know I suggested this. As a physician myself it might threaten my medical license to suggest such dastardly and unproven techniques be tried on human (or her case superhuman) subjects. Thanks.

How about a bullet point summary of the steps? I have a hard time following instructions embedded in paragraph narratives. When I'm following along and then doing something step-by-step, I find I lose my place and have to reread a whole page to find it or, I find myself rereading the same paragraph over and over just to find my next step. And, it's gotten worse with wearing glasses.
Otherwise, I'm with everyone else, MORE PICS! or cowbell....

My only suggestion would be lots of photos. I know the idea is still to sell the book, and not give the information away for free. As Steve suggested some "action" shots of Barb at work would be nice.

Just realize, folks, that I need to hit a happy medium between providing info on the web site and providing so much that people have no incentive to buy the book.
And yes, there will be a download link for the box pleat supplement (which will remain free of charge).
Keep those suggestions coming! Thank god for Carolyn - without her, I would have an extra-lame web site forever. Now I'll have something really swell!!

Oooooo, I know!
Some videos showing the stitches in action, and how to press. The catch-stitch, stitching the fell, basting stitch. Short little how-to vids.
If labeled right, when someone googled looking for catch-stitching, your website would come up. More exposure = good?

| Then post some of the good vs bad pictures included in your book. Not all of the pictures, but a few to encourage people to learn how to do it right.
If possible, add some pictures of finished kilts by former readers.
