    Hose with Heritage of Scotland

OK rabble, I need some help. I just bought a Heritage of Scotland kilt and now I can't find any hose to wear with it other than white, and I know what the rabble think of white hose. Where can I get some purple hose, perferably in acrylic since I have large calves. I have checked all the supporting merchants websites and no one has purple.

If you're dead set on wearing purple, then go with the "Fully Fashioned" variety of Lewis hose from the STM:

That being said, you don't have to wear purple hose just because your tartan is purple. Lovat blue or green would look fine...and perhaps better.

You could have them made by a non-pro, too.

Purple is certainly one colour that you can have too much of.

Lovat Blue or a mid to dark grey should do...at least till you manage to locate purple.

    Or try here:

I see that they got hip to the fact that we've been checking them out and did a "kilt socks" category.

Socks are socks and have no gender...

Another vote for purple Lewis kilt hose from STM. They have acrylic in them and stretch well for my massive thighs.

    I love them!
