from another thread, I "hear" "rumours" of a possible Kilt Kamp March 2012 in Victoria!!

I'm Jonesing!

I am VERY interested! more detail ( date & $?), PLEASE!!

Yes folks the rumours are true.

Barb T. and I have been working on the dates for a Kilt Kamp in Victoria, BC.
We currently think the first two weeks in June 2012 work best.
Barb has a break between classes and trips to Iceland and I will have just finished my big Highland Game for the year.

As in the past Barb will be teaching a 5 day Traditional Kiltmaking course.
Bring your fabric, needles and thread and learn to make a full traditional hand-sewn kilt from a true master. If you catch on quickly you should be able to finish a kilt during the course.

I will be teaching a companion 5 day course in Contemporary Kiltmaking. I have four sewing machines and layout tables available and you should be able to finish a kilt, with pockets if you wish, during the course.

Two courses for the price of one. How great is that?

Final dates and pricing are still to be worked out.

As things start to come together we will make an announcement with contact details.

Indeed it has. Our Victoria plans keep getting pushed back. We will hopefully get up there for a casual visit before Kilt Camp (sorry, I just can't spell it with a K)
