    Modern MacGillivray tartan for sale

    Hi folks

Over the weekend, I started to make a kilt for our drum major, only to discover that the Modern MacGillivray piece that I have doesn't match the Modern MacGillivray in our band kilts. So...I have a kilt length (for an 8-yard kilt) in heavy weight (16 oz) Lochcarron Strome that I would love to sell to someone. The only wrinkle is that I've already split the tartan (it was a double width piece). Fortunately, it would have been a pretty long kilt, and the piece could be used for a kilt length of anything less than 23 + 2" rise (total kilt length 25"). Sett is 7".

I'll sell it for $200 plus shipping (I paid more than that for it, so it's a bargain). Anyone interested?

    Picture of tartan below.

For reasons that don't bear repeating, I also have an uncut piece of the same MacGillivray. I'd love to sell either or both.

    Barb,

I would be interested in the kilt. What do you need me to do?

    Cheers, Bill

    OOPS!

I read too fast and thought it was for a kilt made from the tartan. What was I thinking? ...and I dropped my beer too.

    Cheers! Bill
