My daughter as a frec during frosh week

My daughter is at Queens University in the engineering program. She is a frec and is overseeing the frosh. I made a kilt for her and her roommate. Knowing full well it would be trashed. I had used a velcro closure but the girls didn't seem to line it up right however, given that , it's better than the table cloths the others were using.
They do go to extremes. They dye themselves purple and paint their hair. Of course all to be intimidating to the poor frosh. So here we go folks.

    Her roommate

    The group of frecs

The virgin frosh...it was payback time for my daughter so these guys were in for a ride!

    Cheers

would it be very confusing if I went as a freshman..painted myself tartan and wore a purple kilt?

Wow, that's a most vivid shade of purple! Exactly how do they do that?

Wow! That purple is incredible. Those pics rival anything I've seen at Fantasy Fest.

Rarely do I go backa and look at the pictures 3X. Wow once you've worn that, it's all down hill. O'Neille

    Pictures say it best
This is potent stuff. Last year when she got her engineering jacket it was yellow. They use a gentian dye and dyed their jackets purple. This is how they did it last week.

When in doubt check the Urban Dictionary.

Wow, brings back memories. I was a frosh at Queen's about ten years ago. Although I was in ArtSci, not Engineering, so no gentian violet (the dye used to dye skin and leather jackets engineering purple) for me. Alas, I never quite graduated, but what few memories I have of frosh week will stay with me for life.
