My husband recently inherited a family tartan that his uncle had purchased some 35 years ago or so with the intent of having a kilt and plaid made. When we opened the package, we noticed a moth had eaten a small hole through the entire bundle.
We live in the Seattle, Washington area and I have not been able to find a kilt maker or repair shop nearby.
My husband turns 50 in June 2013 and I would love to have a kilt made for him, in his family's tartan, with this fabric from his favorite uncle.
Can this fabric be saved? Is there a kilt maker nearby? Willing to travel to make this work.
Blessings,
