How the Internet Sucks my Time Away (and Scotweb Makes It So Much More Efficient)

So, the other day I was searching for something - don't recall what - and then started looking for large images I could pilfer for use as my background wallpaper, when I found this, (here reduced considerably):
Lately I have been on a kick collecting images with orange in them to go with the golden pumpkin color I have painted my TV room/office. I love this one for the 1940's style fashion illustration and the majolica feel it has.

Then i noticed the sock on the fellow on the left.
Say, I said to myself, wouldn't that look great as a tartan!

So, I went to the Scotweb Tartan Design site and pulled up one of the tartans I've been working on, and gave the new drop to replace the color function a whirl, and no time I had this tartan, which I think is quite nice, actually.

I wonder what he is day-dreaming about.
Probably wishing he was in a kilt, that's what!
Why, with Nick's new toy, I killed not nearly as much time as I would have if I had to manually recreate the thread count in new colors.

Nick, you are an enabler! You know that right?

Regards,
Rex.

That would be a nice tartan I think. I like the muted tan colours. Interesting picture to use as your computer wallpaper too.

That's really handsome, Rex. What are you going to call it, and when will you be taking orders for the custom run? It would look great posed in front of your fireplace!
