Nice suggestion. If the new developments we have in mind work as intended, I see no reason why this shouldn't be included.

Dear Mr. Fiddes,
I have a Newsome Dalgliesh custom weave Robertson Modern (Wilson's colours) on the way. I must say, with the recent developments in mind, how fortunate I feel to have a Dalgliesh sourced garment. There is an ethical imperative in my mind that must preserve treasured and time-honoured art forms. While I recognize very clearly that I am speaking as a novice in this community, I am heartened by your decision to help enable the continuation of excellence and tradition that this small weaving firm has accomplished through years of care, experience and practice. I take my hat off to you.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
This post was originally supposed to serve as a public service announcement. It was never intended to be an advertising platform nor to introduce the type of controversy that we have seen today.
This thread, and the similar one in the Tartan Place section of the forum have been reported to the Forum Moderators numerous times in the last few hours.
There have been things said and comments made that the Moderators need time to consider and deliberate on.
We are in contact with all the parties involved and wish our members to know that X Marks needs to remain neutral and unbiased in this controversy.
Until the Moderators have had an opportunity to review the issues and make a decision I am temporarily moving this thread and its partner from the Tartan Place section of the forum to our holding area.
We are not closing the threads nor are we taking any action at this time. We are simply asking our member to be patient as we work through the reports we have received.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would like you to understand that although this thread is being returned to it's original location there are some issues involved that are outside the forum or its control.
A post within another thread on the same topic was reported to the Forum Moderator as a possible violation of our rule # 2.
After deliberation the Moderators decided to remove the post and the one associated with it.
There are further issues over this thread which are still ongoing. The forum cannot get involved in or take sides in these issues
.
I hope that our membership will understand that until these outside issues are resolved by the parties involved we must close this thread to further posting.
