Hi Gang!

I'm posting this as a new thread in the hope this will make it less likely to be missed...

As you may have gathered, we had a bit of a disaster, which brought down all our web sites, email etc. just a day or two before the end of our contest:

A fire and explosion hit in the worst way possible at one of our core hosting services. See:

I'm glad to say that things are now back to normal. But to be fair to everyone who wanted to submit a last minute entry (and because we're so over-run with catch-up work we're unlikely to find time to do much judging right now anyway!) we've decided to extend the entry period.

The contest will now close first thing NEXT Monday morning (UK time) - i.e when you go to bed on Sunday 8 June.

Sorry for all the confusion. But as you'll appreciate, it's been pretty much out of our hands. Look forward to hearing from a few more of you perhaps?

I think what you're remembering is that, in addition to the main prize, I offered a 25% discount to a couple of runners-up:

The GOOD news is that you're actually getting about a 30% discount! Earlier this year, one UK pound was buying about 2.10 US. As I write, our rubbish currency is getting about 1.72 of your fine dollars. So to anyone buying from North America, our prices are now nearly 20% lower!

Combine this with the 10% discount you get simply for clicking our banner above, I reckon that comes to pretty much your 30% off!!

Can't be bad, eh?
