I lost my wonderfull Fleur de Lys kilt pin recently. The pin clasp just did not keep closed. So I ordered a new one and when it came I opened a bottle of wine had a glass and then cut a peice of the cork and now use it to secure the pin to the cloth. So far so good and the wine was great as well.

    Kilt Pin Loss

As I have stated several time previously (and I touch wood here): in all my 50+ years of kilt wearing I have yet to lose a kilt pin.

In fact, I generally find tbat those little turn-around securing thingies at the back of the pins are the Devil's own job to undo!

For the record, I HAVE purchased a kilt through them... prior to the XMarks discount. Not only is it one OUTSTANDING kilt, but the hand-sewn wool monster was at my front door in less than 8 weeks.
