Argyle waistcoat

I just ordered, and received, one of USAK's 5-button Barathea argyles and I have to say that it is a beautiful waistcoat at a great price! The quality is top-shelf! I had purchased this on the hope that it would match my existing Geoffrey (Tailor) argyle, and while there are expected slight differences in weave and colour, it is well close enough to wear together. A great waistcoat at a great price. And, despite ordering it over the holiday, it arrived in short order. Thanks, Rocky and Kelly!

Congrats on the acquisition. Your area should be cool enough the next few evenings to need its warmth.
Will pictures be forthcoming?

Most likely...I will probably wear it for first night parties. (We need to look at doing a central-and-WNC/UpstateHogmanay - sorry to hijack my own thread. I was just thinking in text.)

I am hoping to acquire a certain sporran soon, when it's current owner isn't looking, and will certainly take lots of pics then!

I think I have only seen pics of said sporran. Never in person. I think its too afraid to come out. I think it WOULD look great with your new waistcoat. If you are up for a midnight aquisition, just let me know. I'll bring the dogs.

You Barclays are barking up the wrong tree. It'll take a whole pack of hounds to tree a certain sporran, and that's after you get past its guardian.

First Night, huh? That sounds like it might be some fun. Let me know if anyone else in the Carolinas are interested. It's coming up soon, you know.

We Barclay boys stick together like...well, like family. LOL And I'm thinking that the guardian might make a dandy sporran as well. Hmmmm....

I saw him at Payne's Prairie near Gainesville, FL, when I was there over Thanksgiving with the in-laws. We guessed him about 12 feet. If you can catch him, you can have him.

That's a wee beastie. You haven't seen our dogs. Oh and I do have a black cat with real nasty dispostion. Well...not really. He's a good cat, I was just thinking the gator might be superstitious about black cats.
