    It Arrived

I told you the feeling was coming on

As promised, here is my new USAK Black Watch poly/vis 8 yard traditional.
As usual, a perfect fit, a lovely tartan, very well made and one I will wear with pride.

Well done Rocky, and what what a fast service, only 2.5 weeks from ordering to my door on the other side of the world!!

It's right out of the box, so it's a bit creased but here it is:

Looking good Graham. I can't help but notice you've forgone your beloved scally in favor of a balmoral though. Is that the influence of the tartan affecting you?

A temporary deviation, I assure you. It was only for the photo, the darn thing is quite uncomfortable, back to the scally!!

The kilt is pleated to the stripe, which normally I don't like, but with this tartan the stripes are subtle, so it still looks very nice.

The only problem is that I need to loose a few pounds I've put on over winter. Time for a fast.

Pretty smart looking get-up Graham! It's easy to understand why it's such a popular tartan. Pleat to stripe is awsome in the way it moves. BTW, Are those DocMartens??

Blu the boots are Bata work boots, just steel caps i use for work.

I've visiting our Pipe Major tonight to show off the kilt.
The band is getting a bunch of jackets made and I hope to get one as part of the order if they are nice enough.
