    Guys,

If possible, please vote only if you want to purchase the jacket and vest. I see we have 4 people voting (including myself as 1), but no one has responded that they want to purchase one. Unless I'm supposed to guess who wants it.

I see we are up to six at this point. I would love this.

I would like to get the jacket. Looks like it might be that time with the right fabric.

sorry, voted before i read the qualifier "vote only if you intend to order one..."

in retrospect, i should have known better. i let the daydreamer get the better of me... good luck with the run.

I also voted without looking properly at the qualifier. I would love one but cannot afford it right now. Should have read first. Thought it was a sale or something.

Perhaps the mods can adjust the title of the poll to add the word "BUYING" on the end and reset the poll...

    Brown Tweed

    Rocky,
Any more on this? Or was there not enough interest?

Beautiful tweed Rocky! I recently placed an order for the Lochcarron Gamekeeper (mid to dark brown colour) hill jacket and matching waistcoat, done up in the Argyll style. Darn!

There wasn't enough interest. We were actually visited by one of the tweed mills recently (they met with clients in VT, MA, NY and us in PA) who happened to have DOZENS of swatches on hand. I actually found a slightly lighter brown (greyish brownish tan kind of color) that was an even BETTER match for the Weathered tartans. In the future, if we do a run of a half piece of that cloth (30 M), I will re-post it up here. I think I need about 4 M of cloth for a jacket and vest, so 30 M is enough for 7 or 8.

If people ARE interested in a brown tweed, I can post a picture of the new cutting and get this one moving again.

Maybe I should start another poll (for those interested in BUYING ONLY)... hmm...
