| | | Casual USAK Jonesing has begun! Hamish’s thread on his recent acquisition of two USA Kilts got me thinking about the upcoming summer. I have a USAK semi-trad in Stewart Black and thought a casual in a ‘summery’ plaid would be perfect for the hot humid summers here in Virginia. With my thread on Dougie MacLean, his song Caledonia and my upcoming visit to Scotland this summer, the Caledonia tartan would be perfect. The order has been placed and the Jonesing has begun! |

We will patiently wait for the pictures of your newly ordered kilt, and certainly for the pictures of your trip to Scotland. I am GREEN with envy. But happy for you!

Boy, Caledonia is a beatuiful song AND a beautiful tartan...you must really have a jones going.
Try not to dwell on other folks pics of the Caledonia tartan...just makes the jones worse...much worse...

That is one of the kilts I am going to purchase, or should I say my wife Robin will purchase for me, this summer. She told me to show her two or three that I want and she will pick it out for me for my birthday.
Can't wait to see the pics.
