    Clergy Kilt

I am now the owner of a clergy tartan semi traditional.
It's the seventh kilt I've bought from Rocky and it fits just as well as the others - perfectly!

My initial reaction to the tartan itself is not really positive. While the tartan matches exactly the swatch on the USAK website, when you see the whole kilt it can look different.
This tartan seems to have a lot of white on it, which I don't like too much, but it's very different to any other kilt I have and I have gotten some good responses already.

I suspect that what is worn with the tartan makes a difference, I may need help from Hamish on this one

If you plan on getting "dressy" in it, try a white shirt and solid black tie. That could help bring out some of the colors in the kilt (other than the white).

And hey... where are the pics?

I'm assuming, then, that this is the Clark tartan that USA has the image of?

I'd be interested in seeing pics!

The white on the tartan really stands out, but it is a very nice kilt. I'm sure if you wore more white (ie, hose, shirt...) that the other colours of the kilt should stand out.

oh that is a very handsom tartan! I don't think there is too much white at all.
What about wearing it with a black shirt and hose?
So the only white you are wearing is only what's in the tartan?? Just a thought.
