    'DIFFERENT' tweed...

    Hey Guys,

I just got an email from a supplier about a few new tweeds and 1 stood out. What would you think about this in a KILT... (notice that the Warp and Weft are different... kind of like the Welsh Tartans)

    Note: This is a TWEED:

I like it! But I've never really met a tweed I didn't like.

Very nice, if I weren't already waiting for my new tweed kilt to arrive (the wait is killin' me Rocky ) The one you posted might be pretty high on the list.

    Tweed

That is a definite YES. I would consider having a new kilt in that tweed.

    Rocky,

Do the dark (black/brown) lines run parallel or perpendicular to the selvage? If perpendicular I would say yes, if parallel, maybe not.

For a kilt, I'd have to say no on the color. I love olive - I'm thinking about a color very close to that one for my bedroom - but I don't see that one as a garment as much as other tweeds I've seen.

    Regards,
    Rex.
