    Hey, Rocky...

    Hey, Rocky!

Will you ever be offering the German Heritage in PV?

At some point in the coming year or so, but not any time in the immediate future... We JUST got the Tara / Murphy tartan in (pics to be added soon). The German Heritage will probably be one of the next 'secial runs' of PV.

While we're on the subject of the German Heritage, is 16oz wool available in that tartan?

No... Only the German American tartan is available in 16 oz fabric. I've had a few inquiries about having it woven in 16 oz, but it's tough when we'd have to pay for a full bolt up front (60 M) to get a half decent price on it. The German American is available as a 16 oz STOCK tartan from any kiltmaker who buys material from MM.

The Tara / Murphy tartan is already available in wool:

We NOW have it in PV as WELL, so it will be available in EVERY level of USA Kilt from the Casual through the Premier.

The only small difference in the color from the above picture (wool) to the PV is that the PV has a darker color red (more of a muted red). Both Kelly and I REALLY liked this tartan when it arrived yesterday. I'll put it this way... I stopped the kilt I was working on to make myself a Semi Trad in it.

So, is the Tara/Murphy available for purchase now? I'm getting that funny, itchy feeling again. This could be trouble. Do I NEED another kilt?
