    MacEwen Muted

    Hey Guys,

I'm part MacEwen (really, the Irish version... McKeown). I have looked at several sources for MacEwen tartan and they always seem to be the "anc" version. I'm not a big fan of the coloring (red is an orangy kind of red, etc) in anc tartans, so I am having MacEwen MUTED woven. The red is a darker red, the green is an olive green, the blue is a "dirty royal blue" and the yellow is a gold (drk yellow) color.

If anyone wants to get in on an order for a wool MacEwen kilt, or even if you just want to buy the MATERIAL, let me know ASAP.

Weight... hopefully 13. If not, then 16.

Here's a pic of the tartan...

The colors being used are going to be "muted". I sent the mill a swatch of some material I have for Muted Cameron. I can't find a good pic of the material online... This is the closest I can come to a muted tartan online, but the colors still aren't quite right...
