MX 5 (AKA Miata) Tartan Run

Guys,

I just got off the phone with the gentleman who commissioned the initial run of the MX 5 tartan, Iain (who is a VERY nice guy BTW). He gave me the go ahead to do a small run of the material for Kelly (who owns a Miata) and any customer up here who wants one.

If anyone here wants a kilt in the Miata (MX 5) tartan in a MUTED color Scheme in 13 oz fabric (Olive green, 'dirty colonial' blue, blood red and ice blue), please speak now or forever hold your piece. The price will be our 'standard' prices for a 5 yard wool or Premier kilt (no surcharge for custom woven fabric) since we're personally involved (Kelly wants a kilt for herself and enough material for a car seat cover).

We'll leave this open for 2 weeks. If we get a few orders (enough to make up a minimum for the cloth to be woven), we'll go ahead. ALSO, if anyone's interested in MATERIAL ONLY, we can sell it as well.

HERE is a picture of the Miata tartan in 'Modern' color scheme:

Here's a picture of a SIMILAR tartan (Stewart Appin Hntg Muted) that has the same colors that the finished MX5 MUTED tartan will have (plus the white stripe):
