    My Day in Phoenixville...

So my sweetie Tink and I were returning to Toledo after attending a glassblowing conference "Down Jersey" and we thought we'd drop by Rocky's place and check it out.

We parked the car, walked over to the store and... WHAT??? NOOOOO!!!! THE STORE IS CLOSED ON MONDAYS!!!! I'm dejectedly peering into the window when Tink notices the "or for an appointment call..." part of the sign. She calls the number and we hear the phone in the store ringing, oh well... no... wait... someone answered! Rocky! He's in the store!

Long story short, he opens the store for us and allows us to totally disrupt his morning, and gives this kilt wearing newbie a bunch of tips, tricks, and advice. And in short order I'm walking out with a big ol' bag of goodies, an empty wallet, and a huge grin on my face!

Rocky, you're a gentleman and a scholar, and your product and customer service are top-notch! Again... thank you!

    I'm in no way surprised!
    Good people.

How cool is Rocky? That's service. O'Neille

Great story, but hey! Wait a minute! I thought I was the only one with a sweetie named "Tink." Hmmm...

Tell me she's not a redhead.

prairieson: we need at the very least specs! preferably picts! Rocky (and Kelly) run a class act at USA Kilts. Casual, semi-trad, I've got a five yard wool leatherneck on order now . . . you sure started off in a good spot.

Great story, it just shows the class act Rocky and Kelly are.

We had PLANNED to take the day off yesterday, but I was in the store "re-negotiating" with a few of our suppliers, so I happened to be here. It's no big deal... If I know you've traveled to get here and I'm in the store, I'll gladly let people in.

It's the "walk in customers" who don't really want to buy anything, but want to tell me about their trip to Ireland in 1972 for an hour and all the places I have to see and then leave without buying so much as a piece of shortbread... that's what delays kilt deliveries.

Anyway... it was good to meet you, Prairieson (and your wife). Thanks for making us a stop on your trip! I hope my little "speaches" were educational and shed some light on why we do (and don't do) certain things. Now get out there and enjoy the new kilt!

Oh... This news is for EVERYONE! We'll have a sale coming up on White hose and flash AND we'll now have BLACK flash! I'll let you know soon!
