| | | New Sporrans
Hey Guys,
Since we got over 24" of snow last night and today, the shop was closed. However, I thought ahead and did a photo shoot on Thursday and took the time today to add all the new sporrans, 15 in all, to our site today (even when the shop is closed I don't get a 'snow day').
The NEW sporrans fall in 3 categories...
Historically Inspired Sporrans: http://www.usakilts.com/store/cart.p...duct_list&c=52
Immitation Fur sporrans (which look SURPRISINGLY real): http://www.usakilts.com/store/cart.p...duct_list&c=53
and a few NEW Dress Sporrans (Mink, Red Fox, Persian Lamb and Masonic): http://www.usakilts.com/store/cart.p...duct_list&c=23
In addition, I also added a couple new Sgain Dubhs and new flat cap. I hope you like the new designs!

Rocky,
I saw two sporrans that I really like. Now I need to save up a few pennies.

I'm glad you guys like them so much. I have been on a bit of a 'sporran kick' recently, designing many new ones for the shop and expanding our ranges. I'm really excited about the new ones we have. The Historically Inspired ones that we designed with Donnie (with 1 more to come) are my new favorites.
Also, the Immitation Fur sporrans are REALLY much nicer than I thought they'd be. Our supplier in Scotland found a source for high quality immitation fur and told me he was sending me 5 'sample' sporrans (even though I told him I didn't really think we'd keep them). All I could say when I opened them was 'WOW'... and the price was so good that we HAD to start carrying them.
BTW... for Kelly and my wedding in May, I think I'm going to go with the immitation Kodiak Bear fur (and a special cantle to be designed), I like it so much.

Those historically inspired sporran, the lion head ones, are, as my son would say, sick! I have GOT to get me one of those!

We actually got the professional photographer to agree to allow us to use the wedding pics on our site (and to use for product sales if applicable). |

Great additions! I'd love to get a few myself. This can be such a costly addiction.

BTW... I DID go through the site and reduced the price on some of our sporrans. I negotiated a better deal with one of our suppliers and was able to drop some of the prices a bit. You'll see this reflected as 'sale' prices on certain sporrans.
