Dropkick Murphy's has their own tartan?! And a gorgeous one, to boot. How do I get a kilt in that?!

cell phone pictures don't do it near justice, matt. it's a real experience roaming through the shop. it's the perfect size as there is something to examine in every corner. it's not so large as to be sparsely merchandised and it's not so small that you feel jammed in with the products.

the new merch such as hand knit sweaters and hose, ladies department and giftables really fill the place out with quality. kelly has done a great job purchasing for the clientelle.

as for the studio, it's the type of space deserved of someone so passionate about his craft as rocky and his staff. plenty of room to lay out cloth and various other projects while each craftsperson has their own generously sized private work area. bonus points to kelly for the framed copy of the london calling lp at her station...

i sincerely hope that everyone who has the chance to attend the grand opening party does so this saturday if for no other reason than for the tour. it's a special place.

wishing you and your family and staff the very best of success for many years to come, rocky, kelly, sue and mac.

Very nice I'm torn between Ferguson Weathered and Laing next "real" kilt. Which pleating pattern did you end up going with?

If anyone is interested in a DKM kilt, I have 1 lightly used 8 Yard Preimer kilt in a size 39 X 43 X 24, pleated to sett. It is mine and I can adjust the waist or hips + / - a couple inches if someone really wants the kilt and is a little too big or small. I have 2... 1 pleated to stripe and 1 pleated to sett. I tend to wear the STRIPE one much more, so I wanted to sell the other to someone who may want it.

Thanks to those who complimented the new shop. We're looking forward to seeing some of you at the grand re-opening this Saturday! The fridge is stocked with Guiness, Victory Hop Devil, Yeungling Lager and Miller lite!

It looks like you've done a fine job of setting up the new shop. I won't be there Saturday, I have to work and it would be a rather long drive. But I do have family in Philadelphia. I'll be planning a side trip this summer. Wearing the MacKay you just made for me.
