| | | A Plug For Polyviscose
So when I headed out on my long drive to Carson City and Reno ten days ago I took four USA Casual kilts in polyviscose to wear during the four long days of driving over and back.
Comfy for sure, but I also sat on them for hours and hours and hours.
When I got home six days ago I hung them up, intending to steam the wrinkles out. Well, today I finally got around to doing the steaming and found that the wrinkles had already hung out on their own over the past week. How cool.
Had the steamer fired up so went ahead and did a once over - but I didn't really need to. They all looked great.

My USAK kilts always hang out the wrinkles. I have never steamed them. Just hang 'em up and they are soon ready to wear.

Thanks for that report, Ron. My soon to arrive USAK casual in the Caledonia tartan will be my designated travel kilt when I fly across the pond next month.

You guys got me Jonesing for my US Navy tartan USA kilt that Rocky's making me.
If only Rocky could get the PV USAF tartan (not the stuff SportKilt sells - wrong tartan) I would be a happy man.

I hadn't given PV much of a thought. Always felt wool was the only material for a kilt. I discovered the error of my thinking after joining XMTS.

Love my Clan Hamilton PV. Drove from Charlotte, NC to Allentown, Pa a while back and the pleats still looked great. I highly recommend.
