    Poacher Tweed Jacket & Waistcoat

In early March I ordered a Jacket & Waistcoat in Poacher Tweed from Rocky at USA Kilts. The site stated that it would take 6-10 weeks and living downunder it usually takes another 2 weeks to get here. So here I am looking at 12 weeks at the outside and my luck is usually I have to wait the whole 12weeks. BUT today when I got home from work there was a package from USA Kilts, and inside the jacket and waistcoat PLUS a free USA Kilts garment carrier.

So instead of 12 weeks, Rocky has pulled it off in in a tad under 7 weeks, including delivery to me in Oz. Now I know why you guys rave about Rockys service.

To all at USA Kilts, thanks for the great service, thanks for the quality jacket and waistcoat

Full review and photos after easter (I actually have to work fulltime this week "horror" )

As promised photos of the new poacher tweed jacket and waist coat from USA Kilts. Also first photos of my XMarks tie

To say I am pleased with the poacher tweed is an understatement. Since I first saw it I knew I had to have it. As stated in my first post, a big thankyou to Rocky and USA Kilts for the service and quality of their product.

That Poacher tweed is gorgeous! I really like how the outfit goes together even with all the contrasting patterns of checked tweed, tattersal shirt, striped tie, and tartan kilt.

Personally I prefer to have the cuffs of the jacket a little shorter so that a bit of shirt can show at the wrist. My Harris tweed jacket is also a little long in the sleeve, and I keep meaning to have it altered...

Now that is a well put together outfit. I like the look of the Tweed jacket in general, but I especially like how that brings out the colours from your kilt. And I think the tie is a great contrast. Well done.

    Downunder Kilt,

That is a great fit and a beautiful color match to your kilt. It really looks sharp!

Great look, Mike! The tweed really is gorgeous, and goes quite nicely with the tartan.

Rocky and Kelly run a very professional outfit, you're right.

May I inquire a bit more information about the sporran you wear in the pictures?

The middle picture is a gentleman clearly well chuffed, and rightly so.
Great looking outfit, and I like how well your shots show the tattersall.
So often, they come off looking solid. Well done!!
