    Saffron

    Hey Rocky,

You dont by any chance have saffron colored fabric that you could make a casual out of do you? Pref 12 oz. or white fabric that can by dyed saffron? From seeing cavascout in your casual I now lust for your casual kilt. Lemme know.

    Hey Cory,

Unfortunately, we DON'T have anything in a "saffron" type color. I even checked our PV source for their solids and the only one that even came CLOSE was a straight Khaki tan. Sorry about that.

Check out some solid kilt makers... Jeff from PK said that he has access to some material that may be CLOSE to saffron color.

E-mail me if you'd like me to mail you a sample. It's true saffron and it's the same poly/viscose from Marton Mills that I use on all my kilts. I had to special order 200 metres of the stuff but it's so gorgeous it was worth it!

Think you may have missed that Bear is (still??) willing to sell some of his cool saffron material on to another Canadian kiltmaker...Robert at RKilts, or Steve at Freedom Kilts - if they were willing. To send the cloth across the border into the US of A would be costly.

I also have a saffron kilt on my wish list..

Correct me if I'm wrong here....I'm still baffled why saffron kilts are moving nearly as well as black kilts...

But that's me...a mere 1/32nd Irish, but enough blood for a saffron kilt by God!!
