Sgt Farr's USA Camo kilt - pics?

I was reading a thread on 1st Sgt. Dwayne Farr - the kilted Bagpiper of much fame from the Marines.

Anyway, I know he received several kilts in the marpat desert camo, and according to something I read, Rocky made one also.

Are there any pics of Rocky's fine work?

If so, please direct me to them!

I don't know of any pictures, but there is an article on him here:

I don't think there are any photos of him in our kilt. Channel 3 (CBS in philly) did a story on me making the kilt, but that was about it.

I met him last year at Celtic Classic in Bethlehem and he thanked me for the kilt. He said that he was going to email me pics, but I never received them.

    Bummer.

I saw him in the Utilikilts one (I think).

Hopefully, you'll see him again, possibly wearing it, and can get a shot.

That can only be good for business!

True... but (without trying to sound "sappy") I didn't do it for the business. The only way channel 3 would use their contacts to help us get the measurements is if they could do a story on me, so we let them. I was just doing it to help out a marine who was protecting my freedom and to help brighten up the day of his fellow marines by putting their "bagpipe buddy" in a kilt.

    All the better.

I'm sure that he loved the kilt. Too bad you can't market to more Marines about ready to go, or who are already there.

Hmmm. Have you thought about advertising in Leatherneck Magazine?

Anyway, thanks for what you did for someone serving our country. It made a bigger difference, and has given more people joy and pride than anything I will probably ever do.
