| | | Testing the stain resistance lol!
My darling wife has informed me that we have two tickets to Crue Fest when it comes to Pittsburg, PA! So we're going up to see Motley Crue, Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool and Charm City Devils. The next day at work is going to be hell with a headache! I'm thinking seriously about wearing my kilt, Harley Davidson black boots, kilt hose scrunched down and some sort of kilt related shirt (probably my "Real men wear kilts!" shirt). Hoping that it won't happen, but knowing how bad some of these concerts get with all the alcohol and what have you being passed around, if someone does soil my kilt, I'm hoping the teflon coating will save it and me some embarrassment lol. I still remember trying to explain to my mother that the whiskey smelling stains on my pants were from the girl next to me and not me! At 15 years old, she didn't know if she should believe me or not.
Should be a great time, loud and probably no sleep before I have to go to work the next day lol! We've got tickets a few rows back from the stage, so I hope noone wants to talk to me the next day at work (may have to smuggle ear protection in lol).

Do it man!! and a vote of "yes" on the ear protection. I just went to a Dropkick Murphys concert and forgot them....big mistake. I'm OK now, but I've lost too much hearing between concertas and bikes....not worth it. Enjoy the show!

I went to a Dropkick Murphys concert kilted. Some assorted liquids did get on me from the upper balcony, the Kilt cleaned up fine the next day. Rocky's kilts just plain ready for it all. My hearing returned after five days.

Is it possible to convert one of USA PV kilts in Wallace tartan to Ettrick tartan with a red laundry marker or permanent marker? Will the "teflon coating" prevent such an alteration? (the only difference between Wallace and Ettrick is a gold stripe vs a red stripe -- I would never consider doing this on an expensive wool kilt, just PV.) No offense intended to the Wallaces.

You can color over it as the marker will dry ontop the teflon coating, but the first time you wash it, expect most to come back off.
