Funny that you said that. I did get some Lovat blue hose and you're right - it looks much better. I'm still wearing the flashes, though (they are more subdued with the Lovat blue hose, but still accent the kilt colors nicely, I think).
This is with a shirt my wife made for me. Sort of a pseudo-Jacobite style shirt, although the pattern is actually for a Missouri River Boatman shirt.
