    Usa kilts holiday sale!!!

This is the email we sent out to our customer list about our sale. Thought we'd share it with our friends up here as well... Also, hope you enjoy the pic of 'Santa' on our homepage.

To help you dress your best at the best possible price OR to help you save a couple bucks to help make someone ELSE’S holiday one they won’t forget, USA Kilts is having our first ever HOLIDAY SALE!

www.USAKilts.com has LOTS of new items and loads of sales just in time for your holiday shopping.

First, we are about to receive a huge shipment of Argyll Jackets and Vests. We’re getting SO many at such a great price that we’re able to put them on sale for $249.99 for the Jacket & Vest combo (size 38 to 52 ONLY). We FULLY REALIZE that the Jacket alone is on sale for $289.99. We want to make sure you really get your money’s worth when you buy the jacket and vest together! Please note that the jackets are currently clearing US Customs, so they will be ready to ship in about a week. You can PREORDER the jacket and vest on the website now and it will ship as soon as the order clears customs and arrives at our shop.

Next, we want to share a coupon code with our friends and existing customers to help them accessorize their kilt(s)… Enter the promo code ‘hohoho’ during the checkout for 15% off your purchase, December 1 through December 12th. Please note that this promotion is NOT valid towards custom kilts or any package deals (that are ALREADY discounted) or any previous orders, but it IS valid toward anything ELSE on our site. It’s even good on sale items like our Ghillie Brogues, Cream Hose and Flashes!

While the 15% off promo is NOT valid on custom kilts, we ARE offering 15% off of our ‘Off The Rack’ kilts (in stock sizes only). If you waited too long to get a custom kilt for yourself or your loved one, you can still get them an O.T.R. Casual and save 15% in the process! Please note that all Off The Rack kilt orders MUST be called in due to the fact that they are also available for ‘in store’ purchase as well.

Other ‘noteworthy news’ and fresh products:

We’ve had dozens of requests for ‘brown kilt accessories’ over the past few months and decided to start carrying some! Check out our new ‘Brown Kilt Accessories’ page to see our new brown belts, sporrans, sporran hangers, brass buckles, etc. ALSO, if you order a kilt, you can now request that it be made with brown straps and brass buckles (vs. the standard black straps and silver buckles)… just make a note on the order or call it in. Whether you call them ‘scally caps’, ‘driving caps’, ‘golf caps’ or ‘flat caps’, the traditional Irish cap is a classic look for both the young and the young at heart. We have carried flat caps (Hanna Hats brand) in our store for some time, but never put them on the website. Well, I finally got the digital camera out and took pictures of the different tweeds and uploaded the hats to our site. Hanna Hats are the ONLY hat company able to claim that their hats are 100% Irish Made… from the weaving of the Donegal Tweed they use to the very last stitch on the brim, these classic hats are made in Co. Donegal, Ireland. For those looking for a quality flat cap that will last a long time, Hanna Hats are the benchmark of quality. Here’s a link to the flat caps:

With the addition of jewelry to our site, we found that many customers wanted the less expensive option of sterling silver bands in our most popular lines. Since these lines became so popular in silver, we have begun stocking our most popular rings in various sizes in sterling silver. Whether you want that ‘Mo Anam Cara’ ring for your soul mate or the Claddagh ring for that special gal, we may have the size in stock… you can always call us to check the availability for you.

We have 2 NEW tartans available in our Casual and Semi Traditional kilt range… We now offer the Isle of Skye tartan and the Firefighters Memorial tartan in Poly Viscose material (what we make our Casuals and Semi Trads from). Even at the lower price point, we still give 15% of every Firefighters Memorial tartan kilt to the Leary Foundation.

We hope that everyone is enjoying their holiday season and is getting in the spirit. If we don’t have a chance to email or speak with you in the coming weeks, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from all of us here at USA Kilts!

    Sincerely,

    that's a serious sale...

question regarding the argyll jackets: the product images for the argyll jackets on your site appear to be brown and black. are there color options in the sale range?

hoping many take advantage of the sale. good luck.

darn, too bad I didn't wait a few extra days to order my socks. I see the site list the sale on OTR kilts ending on the 22nd... Is that a different sale than the discount coupon on purpose?

The jackets are ONLY black. I apologize if they look brown.

The 'discount coupn code' sale ends on Dec 12. The JACKET & VEST and the OTR Kilt sales won't end until Dec 22.

got a ? for you RockyR, on the back of the kilt hose I just got in today (Your speed matches SWK so far, wow) it list the componets, but I saw that the German list as Cotton instead of Wool. (Baumwolle, 'tree wool') Is that just one of those oddities?

I assume they are wool and all, just thought that was odd and wondered about that.

Hmm.... no idea about that. Maybe they change physical properties when they cross the border into Germany!?!?
