USA Kilts Newsletter 2.25.9

Guys,

I just sent out our 'newsletter' and thought I'd post it here in case anyone is not on the list, but wants to read it:

Hello All,

I hope everyone is firming up their plans for their St. Patrick's Day Celebrations! I wanted to drop you an email to let you know what's been going on here the past few months and to let you in on our Off The Rack Kilt SALE!

First, the SALE! If you or a friend are in need of a kilt as part of your St. Patrick's Day festivities, let us know! We have a full stock of Off The Rack Casual kilts and are running a 15% off sale through March 16th! If you know someone who is thinking about purchasing a kilt for St. Pat's, please forward this email to them so they can take advantage of our sale. To place an order, please call us at the shop from 10 AM to 7 PM EST: 610.935.3444

If you prefer a CUSTOM kilt, there's still time to get your order before St. Pat's! Our cutoff date for Rush Orders to arrive before St. Pat's is March 2nd. Just remember to add the RUSH charge to your order when you place it and keep the shipping timeframes in mind (shipping from the Philadelphia region of the US).

Speaking of kilts, we've continued to add more tartans to our ever growing list of PV material. We now carry a second "Universal" IRISH Tartan: Murphy / Tara (it has 2 names). We've also designed a tartan for the Scottish band ALBANNACH, and are now taking pre-orders for kilts in the Albannach tartan on our site. If you haven't heard of the band, PLEASE go to their website (www.albannachmusic.com) and give them a listen... or click on the bottom Video link on our site to hear a song. Go to the Albannach Page on our site by clicking here:

Since we have CD's and DVD's for sale in the shop of bands that we know, enjoy, & respect, we figured it was time we added a music section to our site. Now those great bands are available through our web store:

While we are known for our funny tshirts, I wanted to design one that was just plain "tough" looking, to go along with the chest out, shoulders back attitude of our proud customers... The design I came up with sits high on the chest of the shirt and is simple, yet classy. Check out the new "USAK Lions Tshirt":

That's about it for now. Keep an eye out for new products coming in and if you're in the Phoenixville area (or within a couple hour drive), remember to mark the 3rd Annual Phoenixville Celtic Street Fair on your calendar for May 9, 2009!

Remember to stand tall and wear your kilt proudly.

Hey Rocky- I have a few bands you may dig.

The Potcheen Folk Band:

http://www.thepotcheenfolkband.com

A band with a harder edge- think Pink Floyd meets AC/DC with a Celtic musician (pipes, whistle) and Johnny Cash singing lead vocals!

http://www.angusmohr.com/

The Commoners:

The Indulgers:

And last but not least- Canned Haggis!

These guys are all aquaintences of mine. Yeah, this is a shameless plug for some of my friends... but also an honest effort to introduce you to Colorado style Celtic rock! These guys are like Pringles- you can't have just one.

And by the way- it's awesome that you added that music page to your store. I'll be buying from it- eventually.
