USAK Jonesing - The next generation!

Rocky & Kelly had a nice booth set up at the celtic music fest today in Valley Forge. I brought the family by with me and they finally got to meet the Candyman & Kelly. I heard hints that there might be kids kilts available at the fest and sure enough there were a few on the rack.

My three year old was stoked. She loves her daddy's kilts, and pretends with her pleated skirt that she's wearing a kilt, too.

So today we tried a couple on. Nothing there in her size. But, like the sign says, they'll take custom orders.

Kelly was very sweet with my precious daughter and measured her out for her first kilt. It's going to be a Royal Stewart, like her daddy's (she picked it herself!) And yes she does have some entitlement to wearing it, so her first kilt will have some meaning.

So all day she was trying to wrap her three year old mind around the idea of having to wait for weeks to get her new kilt. She's jonesing like the big boys!

That's sweet. My 3 (almost 4) year old son has had a kilt for more than 2 years now (check my gallery) and my daughter (2 in April) has a number of kilted skirts. I hope your little girl enjoys her first kilt.
